The Hi Project is part social experiment and part live on-line dating event. It's first installation was July 3, 2010 at the Brooklyn Flea.

It's a game and participation is free! Participants take a button displaying a word ID. A yellow button indicates that the participant is interested in making friends and a blue button indicates that the participant is interested in finding dates. Participants are encouraged to talk to each other as they wander around the area.

For a fee, participants can have notes left or delivered. On July 3, we offered simple notes, balloon-notes and cookie notes.
